Host an Event
We greatly appreciate our friends in the community who wish to host fundraising events benefiting the American Lung Association of Michigan. From golf outings and walks to bake sales and private dinners, hosting your own event offers a great opportunity to support the American Lung Association of Michigan and get creative.
In order to assess how we can best lend support to your event, we ask that you share your plans with us. Download the policies and procedures packet along with the application form.

Corporate Team Challenge
Events like the Asthma Walk are great opportunities to encourage corporate team spirit while supporting the goal of the American Lung Association: to improve life, one breath at a time. Form a team to participate in the event, or volunteer to help at a local event site.
Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities
Looking for a unique way to reach a broad target audience in a certain region of Michigan or statewide? Interested in media exposure for your company or product? Do you share our commitment to preventing lung disease and promoting lung health? Sponsorship packages are offered for various initiatives throughout the year. Choose the package and event(s) that maximize your return on investment by matching your corporate interests with a suitable sponsorship role.
Corporate/Workplace Giving Programs
Payroll deduction programs offer a secure, easy way for individual employees and corporations to contribute to the American Lung Association. Partners whose employees donate to the ALAM include Daimler Chrysler, DTE Energy, Standard Federal Bank, the U.S. Post Office, the University of Michigan, and many others.
The American Lung Association of Michigan is a partner agency of the United Way of Southeastern Michigan. If you work for a Southeastern Michigan business that participates in a United Way Campaign, please fill out a designation form and write the American Lung Association of Michigan in the last box on the form.
