Asthma

More than six million school-aged children – about one in every 12 – have asthma. It is the leading chronic condition among kids under 18 years of age, yet many children, parents and teachers don’t know how to manage this condition. Children and adults with asthma deserve to live active, healthy lives.

The message of the American Lung Association of Michigan is simple. Asthma can be managed and those with asthma can lead normal, active lives. Through creative initiatives and inspired partnerships, we are reaching out to get these messages to the people when need them.
